1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing AutoKeys.io or using our mobile locksmith services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Proof of Ownership (Strict Requirement)

To prevent vehicle theft and unauthorized access, AutoKeys.io requires proof of ownership for all key cutting and programming services. Before service begins, the customer must provide:

- A valid government-issued photo ID.

- The vehicle’s registration or title matching the ID provided.

We reserve the right to refuse service if ownership cannot be verified to our satisfaction.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Any "Free Quote" provided via the website or phone is a preliminary estimate based on the information provided by the customer. Final pricing is subject to change upon physical inspection of the vehicle, particularly in "All Keys Lost" situations or if the vehicle’s locks/ignitions have been previously modified.

4. Liability Waiver (Vehicle Electronics)

Automotive programming involves interacting with the vehicle’s Body Control Module (BCM), Immobilizer, and/or Engine Control Unit (ECU).

AutoKeys.io is not liable for pre-existing electrical faults, "bricked" modules, or failures caused by aftermarket security systems or faulty vehicle batteries.

The customer acknowledges that programming carries a minor inherent risk to the vehicle’s computer system and agrees to hold AutoKeys.io harmless for such occurrences.

5. Non-Refundable Services

- Custom Cuts: Once a key blade has been cut to a specific vehicle code, it is non-refundable.

- Service Fees: If a technician arrives at the location and the customer cancels or cannot provide proof of ownership, a standard service call fee will apply.

6. Warranty

We provide a 6 month warranty on the functionality of the keys and remotes we provide. This warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage, or battery depletion caused by the user.
